We went to Amsterdam to pick up Solo and he was so worth the journey! His daddy is a multi-titled Spanish champion from Spain and his mom is a multi-titled champion from the Netherlands. Solo has produced beautiful healthy puppies for us and we plan to have him continue to contribute to Goldpuppies.
Solo has been with our family for the past 4 years. He is the most gentle and loving dog. Never gets tired of affection and is happiest when he is with his humans. I have never witnessed Solo not enjoying meeting someone new, human or animal. Solo travels with us wherever we go, and our family loves hanging out with him. Chewy is in the elite class. He has an Excellent on his OFA's.
Chewy is from Solo's first litter. Chewy has been with us since he was a puppy. Equally ready to play or snuggle. Chewy is quick to learn and so eager to please. Chewy enjoys almost everything we throw at him other than his nemesis The Squirrel! -Julie & John

Summit
Instagram: @hernameissummit Parents: Rosie & Solo Summit has officially outgrown our other golden in both height and weight. Weighing in at 63lbs at just 9-months of age. She has gorgeous coloring and has wavy hair on her back and into her tail.
She loves swimming, digging in the dirt, car rides, and going for walks even though she's a little cautious of leaf piles. She's doing great with her training and listens well to every member of the family, even our 4-year-old. Summit can never seem to get quite close enough and often curls up laying on our feet or our laps.

She does great at the groomer except for when it comes to the blow drying. She usually comes home about 80% dry.

Our family has enjoyed being friends of Goldpuppies for 2 sweet girls. We have enjoyed getting to know Darcy
and learning from all of her experience that she willingly shares. I’ve appreciated her positive but
realistic perspective of having breeding dogs in other people’s homes. I’ve heard of other guardian
programs that try to maintain strict control of the dogs in guardian homes but I’ve found Darcy to take a
problem solving approach that makes it feel like a partnership.
While I have had many dogs in my life, Stella and Piper were my first Golden Retrievers. I knew they had
a sweet reputation but didn’t know just how kind and loving this breed is. Meet our Stella and Piper.
Stella (Lottie/Finney 2019) is as regal as a queen but not at all stuffy. She loves to be with people and is
eager to please, quick to forgive, and very patient with children and other dogs. She keeps watch on the
family and is super intuitive in sensing people’s moods. She is fiercely loyal and regularly checks in on
anyone who is having a hard day. She loves to lead our walks and is very interested in scents. However,
she listens well and returns when called. During covid isolation period, she stayed with stressed families
to offer companionship and entertainment. We had many requests from people to keep her but this
gentle girl is dearly loved by each family member. Her sweet politeness causes her to be very much
enjoyed out in public. Our elderly neighbor says that she is afraid of big dogs but not Stella.

people by laying her head on their neck and snorting/grunting her satisfaction. She is the family clown
who makes us laugh with her antics. She adores everyone and has never met a stranger. She is
enthusiastic about all new experiences and confidently approaches life. It’s impossible to feel lonely
with this sweet girl around. She makes us feel loved and entertained at the same time.

We love whelping and raising newborn Goldpuppies, giving them a great start in their first weeks in the world, especially introducing them to lots of different situations and people. Colleges, assisted living facilities, schools for those with special needs, Sunday school, youth groups… families with young children, families who miss their children, families who have just lost their own dogs… you name it, we provide puppy therapy. When it’s time to let these adorable fur balls go live with their own families, they take a bit of our hearts with them. But we love keeping connected as they grow.As much as we love our Indigo, we know you’ll love her pups.

Duke has been an absolutely perfect fit in our family. He has such a cute playful personality, best cuddles and is never too far away as he loves to be by everyone.
Many refer to him as the golden pup, as he loves to please. He listens well and quickly learned basic commands. he loves to play ball, go for walks, swims, play with other dogs and find sticks to play with wherever he goes.
He has beautiful eyes that make your heart melt when you see him. Duke has a deeper golden/red color with such soft silky fur. He does great with everyone and other dogs. He has been a great addition to our family and we love every bit about him. We thank God every day for our two beautiful goldens and having found Darcy. We love them so much!

Meet the Sundberg's. We are one of Darcy's guardian families of two perfect pups! Kalani (medium color) is a 3-year-old sweetheart who has already had two litters. Kiki (light color) is a 1-year-old and will be ready to start having litters in 2022.
Our family lives in Burnsville, MN. Ross (the Dad) works as Senior Treasury analyst, and brings the dogs with him in the car wherever and whenever he can. Jenny (the Mom) is a high school Chemistry teacher and enjoys crafting and driving the kids all over the countryside for their activities. Blake (the Big Brother) is in high school and plays football and is on the swim team. Hunter (the Little Sister) is a competitive dancer.
Both Kalani and Kiki are the center of our family and treat them like our own children. Jenny grew up with goldens and thinks Darcy's goldens are the best looking and most well tempered dogs she has ever been around. Darcy truly does what is best for her dogs. We have enjoyed being a friend of Goldpuppies and feel like anyone who is lucky enough to have a Goldpuppy is also part of our family. The more dogs in our lives the better, so we have also been known to watch some of Darcy's dogs if owners ever need a dog sitter. Jenny's goal in life is to have all the dogs and it has been an absolute honor and privilege to be part of the golduppies family.

Monty has been the perfect dog for our family, and we could not have asked for a better golden! He was easily trained and is always getting compliments when we take him out in public for not only his looks but also his demeanor and his obedience! He is extremely well behaved. He loves to be close to family and when we are away, he will wait on the couch staring out the window for our return.
Monty has been an amazing brother to our two children! He puts up with constant annoying pokes and prods and loves exploring with our two-year-old son! He loves being outside, squirrel hunting and helping dad track/find deer that dad shot. He is a natural hunter. He would make an excellent bird dog as well (dad just doesn’t do enough of that). Monty also loves swimming and chasing sticks.
Monty has great muscle tone and flexibility. He has a darker red coat and very soft fur. He is very attentive and observant. He is the epitome of the ideal Golden Retriever!

This is Loki! She is a sweet, caring girl. I can't express how much joy and happiness she brings to our family of five kids and three dogs. She has such a sweet and happy personality, she loves everyone she meets with a passion.
Loki is such a smart dog, she has known basic commands such as sit and stay since she was 9-weeks old. She could most definitely be trained to hunt or be a service dog. Since then she has learned so many cool tricks! Loki always has something in her mouth, whether it's a bone, a toy, or a sock she loves to bring people gifts. She never chews shoes or gloves or socks, but she can bring them to you. She has been on a road trip to Texas with her family and never made a sound in the car, she loves the beach and the water and will let you carry her if need be. She is the most loving golden anyone could ask for.

My favorite part of being a friend of Goldpuppies has been having the opportunity to take Bowie and her puppies home for an entire weekend so my family could enjoy the experience of having puppies around. I always know Bowie and her puppies are in great hands when they are with Darcy because Bowie is always excited when she sees Darcy. I don't even like spending a day away from Bowie so it makes being away from her so much easier when I know that she is being so well cared for when she's gone with her puppies for the 7-8 weeks that she stays with Darcy. The best part is I'm welcomed to come by any day at any time to spend time with Bowie and her puppies even if Darcy isn't home.
